32 Stenciling,
33 like depth-buffering,
34 enables and disables drawing on a per-pixel basis.
35 You draw into the stencil planes using GL drawing primitives,
36 then render geometry and images,
37 using the stencil planes to mask out portions of the screen.
38 Stenciling is typically used in multipass rendering algorithms
39 to achieve special effects,
40 such as decals,
41 outlining,
42 and constructive solid geometry rendering.

44 The stencil test conditionally eliminates a pixel based on the outcome
45 of a comparison between the value in the stencil buffer and a
46 reference value. To enable and disable the test, call <a class="citerefentry" href="glEnable.xml"><span class="citerefentry"><span class="refentrytitle">glEnable</span></span></a>
47 and <a class="citerefentry" href="glDisable.xml"><span class="citerefentry"><span class="refentrytitle">glDisable</span></span></a> with argument
