Remove no-longer-used pty_max_bytes variable.

* configure.ac (fpathconf): Remove unnecessary check.
* admin/CPP-DEFINES (HAVE_FPATHCONF): Remove.
* src/process.c (pty_max_bytes): Remove; unused.
(send_process): Do not set it.
